Recycling Operative in Manchester

Location: Pendlebury, Swinton, Manchester, M27
Pay: £13.45 per hour Monday to Friday | £19.05 per hour Saturday
Contract: Full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity after 12 weeks
F2 Recruitment, acting as an employment business, are recruiting Recycling Operatives to join our client's waste recycling site in Pendlebury, Swinton.
This is a hands-on role suited to reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in a busy waste recycling environment. Previous experience in waste management, recycling or picking line work would be a strong advantage.
The role
Sorting and separating recyclable materials on a picking line.
Removing unsuitable items and placing materials into the correct waste streams.
Keeping your work area clean and tidy.
Following site instructions and health and safety procedures.
Working with the team to keep the line running efficiently.
Working hours
Monday to Friday, with Saturday work when required.
You must be available to work within the 6am–6pm working window .
The site will confirm your start time each day for the following day.
Finish times depend on workload, so you must be prepared to work until 6pm when required.
Your first day starts at 7am for induction, followed by your first shift.
Please ensure you can commit to these working arrangements before applying.
What you'll need
Reliable transport to the site, or to live locally and be able to get there for early starts.
Excellent attendance, punctuality and a dependable approach.
Willingness to carry out physical work in a waste recycling environment.
Gloves and a hard hat will be provided on site.
What we offer
£13.45 per hour Monday to Friday.
£19.05 per hour Saturday.
Weekly pay every Friday.
PAYE employment through F2 Recruitment, with no umbrella company.
Holiday pay accrued separately.
