F2 Recruitment, acting as an employment business, are recruiting a HGV Class 1 Driver for a well established distribution operation based in Rochdale. You will also gain your ADR (Hazardous Goods) Certificate after 6 months. This role follows a clear staged temp to perm structure.

Drivers will begin with a short assessment period of approximately two weeks. Once both the driver and the client agree to proceed, the role will move into the start of a 12 week temp to perm period.

Pay Structure (whilst on the Temp to Perm):

  • £16.00 per hour
  • £24.00 per hour after 8 hours

After successful completion of the 12 weeks, drivers will transfer onto the clients permanent salaried contract.

Permanent Package (After completion of 12 successful weeks):

  • £39,378 per annum
  • Paid monthly on the 25th
  • Bonus scheme up to £3,000 per annum paid on top of salary

Role Overview:

  • Class 1 work
  • Multi drop deliveries and collections
  • Palletised goods
  • Box and curtain sided trailers
  • Occasional 18T work
  • Most of the work is FLT'd off at the delivery point, with some curb-side deliveries using the tail-lift and pump truck
  • Modern vehicles
  • Working out of the Rochdale depot
