HGV Class 2 Driver

F2 Recruitment, acting as an employment business, are recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for a well-established distribution operation based in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for someone fairly new to the industry looking for an early opportunity to learn and grow as a professional Class 2 Driver. If you have recently passed your Class 1 and want to progress from Class 2 to Class 1, this company offers the opportunity to do so.
Pay Structure:
- £15.00 per hour
- £22.50 per hour after 8 hours
Role Overview:
- Class 2 work
- Multi drop deliveries and collections
- Palletised goods
- Box and curtain sided trailers
- Occasional 18T and 7.5T work
- Most of the work is FLT'd off at the delivery point, with some curb-side deliveries using the tail-lift and pump truck
- Modern vehicles
- Working out of the Rochdale depot
- Shifts 5 days per week
- Start times between 06:00 and 08:00
- Average 52.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 licence
- Driver CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- ADR Certificate (Desirable)
- No more than 6 minor endorsements for insurance purposes
- There are no age restrictions with this position
- ADR desirable but not essential
