F2 Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers for a well-established regional logistics operator based in Irlam, operating within palletised distribution and freight movement across the North-West. The company is part of a wider pallet network and specialises in timed, efficient deliveries for a range of commercial and industrial customers, typically moving palletised goods through organised depot-to-customer distribution routes.
This is clean, straightforward driving work with no handball involved. Drivers will be using a pump truck and tail-lift, with some curtainside work depending on the load. The role is ideal for drivers who prefer structured multi-drop work without heavy manual handling.
The position involves delivering palletised freight across the North-West, usually completing multiple drops per shift with efficient routing and consistent day structure. This is initially ad-hoc; however, work is expected to become ongoing for drivers who demonstrate reliability, good timekeeping, and the ability to complete the role safely and efficiently.
Shift details:
- Start times between 07:30am - 09:00am
- Multi-drop palletised deliveries
- Routes covering the North-West region
- No heavy handball (pump truck & tail-lift operation)
- Occasional curtainside work
Pay: £15.00 per hour (PAYE only)
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC card
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience (insurance requirement)
