F2 Recruitment, acting as an employment business, is currently seeking qualified Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers for a prestigious Office Furniture manufacturer, based in the Bolton area.
About the Role
Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of bespoke office furniture, which are delivered to various companies and government departments across the UK. The role involves the timely delivery of office furniture, with responsibilities including the unloading of the items, which are passed from the back of the vehicle to the installation team, who will be waiting for you on site. Usually, 1 or 2 drops per day, with the occasional night out you will find this role one of the nicer jobs for an agency driver. The vehicles are well maintained and within 3 years old.
This position requires a manual approach during the delivery process. As the role involves physical activity, a good level of fitness is essential. A methodical, process-driven approach, along with a professional attitude, is required. Flexibility in working hours is important, as shifts typically begin between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours paid per shift. We are seeking candidates who are able to demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
You may be asked to drive a smaller vehicle on occasion, which generally doesn't involve any more work, mainly because the delivery was able to be put on to a smaller vehicle. So, flexibility is essential.
