We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Hook Lift (Roll On/Roll Off) Driver to join a well-established, family-run waste management business based in Swinton. This is a great opportunity for a driver looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 06:30am
- Finish: Until completion (typically around 16:30)
- Working across the Greater Manchester area
- Hook lift / RO/RO work within the waste sector
Pay & Hours:
- £15.00 per hour (PAYE in-house, no umbrella schemes)
- Guaranteed 10 hours paid per day
- Minimum £750.00 per week
- 45-minute break deducted daily (without reducing the 10-hour guarantee)
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months Class 2 experience within the waste industry
- Experience with Hook Lift / RO/RO vehicles essential
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- No more than 6 minor penalty points
