F2 Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a well-established regional logistics operator based in Irlam, working within palletised freight distribution and trunking operations across the UK network. This role involves a straightforward night trunk run from Irlam to Burton upon Trent, delivering a full load to a hub environment. On arrival, drivers will wait to be tipped and reloaded, before completing the return journey back to the depot. This is clean, structured work with minimal manual handling and is ideal for drivers who prefer trunking over multi-drop work.
The client operates within a palletised logistics network, handling time-sensitive freight and general commercial goods across a well-organised distribution system. The work is consistent, professional, and suited to experienced trunk drivers who can work efficiently on night shifts.
Shift details:
- Start times: 19:30pm
- Trunk run: Irlam to Burton upon Trent & return
- Full load outbound and return reload
- Waiting time while being tipped/reloaded
- No handball involved
Pay: £17.00 per hour (PAYE only)
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
