Formula One Management Ltd is currently seeking an Executive of Experiential Licensing to support F1's current portfolio of experiential licensees. This will involve supporting the day-to-day management and development of F1's experiential programmes; F1 Drive, F1 Arcade, and the Formula 1 Exhibition. The candidate will preferably have licensing/commercial partnerships account experience with knowledge of the live event/experiences landscape. They may have established relationships in the sector and/or an understanding of how to manage partnerships and deliver projects. They will be organised with a high level of attention to detail. A natural self-starter with the organisational skills to deliver against contractual requirements is critical.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Account management support of F1 Drive, F1 Arcade and the Formula 1 Exhibition
- With support of manager, work closely with F1's internal teams on brand IP approvals, marketing and promotion strategy, content development and other related areas
- Liaise and coordinate in limited timeframes with internal and external stakeholders on marketing opportunities and materials
- Partner with wider F1 commercial teams to support experiential partners where required e.g. across sponsorship, media rights, retail and consumer products
- Manage general financial reporting for experiential projects within remit
- Regular and consistent reporting and tracking to internal stakeholders
- Ensure housekeeping is kept highly functional across all management, operational and development areas within the experiential business
- Communicate and help support the licensee business plans
- Under the direction of the Head of Experiential Licensing, build and develop growth strategies, including understanding the live entertainment landscape, vision and direction of wider F1 business
About You
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
- 2+ years of partnership account management in licensing/sports rights holder and/or live event space
- Proven track record of delivering against licensing/partnership delivery targets
- Project management and demonstrated organisational experience
- Strong account management skills and understanding of licensing business models
- An excellent project manager and relationship builder that creates win-win partnerships
- Commercial mindset, strategic and detail-orientated in project execution
- Ability to express and present ideas or facts concisely and precisely through PPT and in writing
- At ease working cross functionally and with internal stakeholders
- Comfort with analytics, excel modelling, royalty tracking and forecasting
- Ability to prioritise and handle numerous tasks simultaneously
- An understanding of Formula 1 will be an advantage though not essential
- Team player with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Resourceful with a focus on detail
- Ability to handle high pressure situations with poise, confidence and humour
