Job Title: 7.5T / LGVC1 Vehicle Recovery Driver
Status: Permanent with immediate interview and starts
Location: Chessington
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Truck: Can take truck home whilst on shift so minimal travel to work costs
Training: Recovery vehicle training provided - so no previous experience is required.
Overview: F1 Personnel is an agency working with this well-established and highly respected local company providing Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Recovery and Repair services based in Chessington.
Why This Role?:
- Helping people in a time of need by attending broken down vehicles by the roadside.
- Providing basic repairs just as wheel changes and jump starts OR Transporting vehicles that can't be repaired to the depot, local garage or customer's home address
Pay & Benefits:
- Basic Pay: £15 per hour
- Overtime: Available
- Bonuses & Incentives: Vehicle workshop bonus
- OTE Pay per Year: £43,000
Shifts: 6 on / 3 off, rotating on a 4-week roster:
- Week 1: 06:00–18:00
- Week 2: 08:00–20:00
- Week 3: 10:00–22:00
- Week 4: 18:00–06:00
Average Hours per Week: 55-60 hours
Note: the shifts are 12-hours per day so candidates must be prepared to work these. xgikmsk
Will include weekend and Bank Holiday working as part of the roster.
Skills & Experience: All candidates must have the following:
Driving Requirements:
- Minimum 7.5T (LGV C1)
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements, no DD, DR, IN, CD
- Hold current Drivers Qualification Card (DCPC) & Tacho Card
