In addition they are holding interview days in the coming week on:\\n\\nFriday 14th November: Basingstoke\\n\\nDescription: Our customer is a well-established breakdown and recovery business covering the whole of the south of England. Based from home the successful Vehicle Recovery Driver will work a rotating shift pattern which will include days, mids and nights as well as weekends and Bank Holidays as part of a rolling roster.\\n\\nRecovery driving can be very rewarding and the salary competitive based upon the hours you are prepared to work and your flexibility.\\n\\nNo previous experience of Recovery Driving is required as the company will train in all aspects of the job role however candidates must have a minimum of 12-months professional driving experience to apply for the role.\\n\\nThe successful Vehicle Recovery Driver will join this hardworking and dedicating team assisting customers who have broken down by the roadside.\\n\\nAs a Vehicle Recovery Driver the main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\\n\\n * Minor Roadside Repairs (Jump starts, Wheel Changes Etc.)\\n\\n * Vehicle Breakdown Recovery\\n\\n * Traffic Collision Recovery\\n\\n * Using the Vehicle Recovery App to complete accurate data on vehicle diagnosis\\n\\n * You will be required to assist customers in their time of need and will be trained to load vehicles onto the recovery truck and transport to a designated drop off point.\\n\\nTo be considered for the role you must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
The company requires all candidates to have at least 1 year’s commercial driving experience in a 7.5T (LGVC1) vehicle or higher category. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential:\\n\\n * Minimum LGVC1 (7.5T) driving licence with no more than 3 points on the licence for minor endorsements and no outstanding DD, DR or CD penalty points\\n\\n * Digi Tacho and full current DCPC (Drivers Card and Drivers Qualification Card) - In some instances the company can help with DCPC training.\\n\\n * Confident and personable when talking to customers\\n\\n * A willingness to learn and enthusiasm to work as a team in all situations and in all weather conditions\\n\\n * Empathetic and appreciative of the stressful situation that customers can find themselves in\\n\\nDue to the nature of the position all applicants will be required to undertake a full vetting process and therefore all employment offers shall be subject to undertaking and passing this procedure. See below for vetting criteria.\\n\\nTraining: The company would prefer experienced Recovery drivers however they will offer full training, if required\\n\\nShift Pattern: Rotating between:\\n\\nWeek 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 10:00-22:00\\n\\nWeek 2: Monday (10:00-22:00), Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 07:00-18:00\\n\\nNote: there is a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern available too.\\n\\nOvertime: is available on request\\n\\nVetting: Our client will undertake vetting including referencing up to 5 years.
