Delivery Manager in Reading

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our high performing Projects & Programmes team, who is enthusiastic about building client relationships and helping our clients reach their goals. As a Delivery Manager at FSP, you will operate beyond the scope of traditional project management roles. Alongside ensuring the successful delivery of projects within quality, time, cost, and scope parameters, you will be the driving force behind establishing and fostering enduring client relationships and supporting operations in our dynamic and rapidly growing business.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership - ownership of projects from inception to successful delivery, orchestrating every stage, using right-fit methodologies.
• Effective planning – demonstrate the ability to plan & consult on best approach/practice supporting effective utilisation of resources to ensure maximum efficiency and output.
• Collaborative client relationships - engage closely with clients ensuring a collaborative and tailored approach that exceeds expectations.
• Client engagement and growth - proactively identify new client opportunities that drive mutual success.
• Budget management - demonstrate astute budget management to ensure projects deliver to cost.
• Proactive risk management - effective Risk, Issue, Assumption, and Dependency Management, proactively identifying and mitigating challenges to ensure project success and resilience.

About you

• Possess a proven track record of managing projects across diverse industries.
• Confident in budget management of projects.
• Understanding of a wide range of project types, where technology plays a critical role.
• Experienced in managing and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Experience of managing multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration, and maximizing the collective strengths of teams.
• A proven problem solver who is keen to take ownership and who is passionate about setting and maintaining high standards.
• Possess an understanding and appreciation of change management and its importance within project delivery.
• Can demonstrate a strong grasp of risk management principles.
• You are at your best when creating clarity and order from challenging consulting engagements.

Knowledge and experience of the following would be advantageous:

• Expertise in delivering and consulting on project management methodologies and best practices.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification (Preferred).
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services organisation.
