Job Title: Quality Inspector Department: Quality Assurance Reports To: Quality Lead Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Description of the Role: Work with a team of Quality Inspectors to verify product against engineering drawings, technical specifications and detailed quality criteria to international aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Support a fast-paced work environment at various stages of build with the inspection of sub assembly and major products ensuring conformity and customer satisfaction. Mandatory Requirements: The successful applicant will be able to interpret engineering drawings and written criteria, applying the requirements to verify product using various types of measuring equipment. The ability to communicate effectively with other functions of the business, written and verbally is essential. The candidate will have previous experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry and a good understanding of the Quality function within. Desirable Experience & Skills: An understanding of AS9100, AS9102, CAA Part 21G. Previous Inspection experience would be an advantage, particularly in the aerospace industry and/or an in-depth knowledge of FPT products. Preferred Qualifications: Engineering and/or Quality qualifications would be of benefit. Location of Role: F.P.T.
