F/LIST UK, with currently 28 employees, is one of our newest locations, situated in South London, at Biggin Hill Airport. This site provides air aftermarket services for European customers, including cabin refurbishment, repainting, re-veneering, seat upholstery, wall panel recovery, carpet replacement and stone floor integration. To further expand our presence in the Farnborough business aviation hub, we are establishing a new regional sales presence in the area. As we currently do not operate a physical office in Farnborough, this role is designed as a home-based position for candidates living in or near Farnborough.
The role involves regular on-site engagement with customers located at Farnborough Airport and in the surrounding business aviation ecosystem, ensuring strong local customer relationships and close market proximity.
As part of our team you will...
- Act as the local F/LIST representative in the Farnborough area, maintaining close relationships with customers, operators and service providers located at Farnborough Airport through regular on-site visits.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, striving for consistently high levels of satisfaction.
- Manage the regional customer network in the Farnborough business aviation hub, identifying opportunities directly with operators, MROs and service centers.
- Serve as a trusted consultant for customers, offering expert advice on repair and refurbishment solutions tailored to their unique requirements.
- Perform aircraft interior inspections and prepare surveys and provide quotes to customers.
- Plan and control aircraft interior projects efficiently, ensuring smooth execution.
- In a subsequent phase, you will be responsible for overseeing local Aircraft Interior specialists.
You're a good fit if you....
- Have completed technical training and/or earned a Bachelor’s degree.
- Possess experience in aviation & business aircraft interiors.
- Are based in Farnborough or if you are willing to relocate to the Farnborough area, enabling frequent personal interaction with customers at Farnborough Airport and within the regional business aviation community.
- Are comfortable working in a home-office based role with a strong field presence, including several weekly visits to customers and partners located at Farnborough Airport.
- Have the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, lead a team, and solve problems.
- Have experience in operation management or project management, ideally within the aviation or aerospace sector.
- Demonstrate high levels of motivation, with a performance-oriented mindset and a hands-on approach.
- Are capable of working autonomously and taking initiative but are also a strong team-player.
- Are flexible and open to frequent travelling to support international business development.
