The Position: Senior Procurement Partnering Manager: Product Development (Late-Stage R&D / Clinical Development)

The Opportunity: This role sits within our Business Partnering group. Your focus is simple yet vital: enable greater customer centricity. You will be the "bridge" between our Global Procurement network and Product Development (our late-stage R&D and Clinical Development organization).
As a Senior Partnering Manager, you provide seamless access to procurement expertise, regardless of the spend category. You will collaborate across Chapters, networks, and technical teams to ensure that our R&D experts have exactly what they need to deliver medical breakthroughs.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Customer Domain Expert: Act as the primary contact for Product Development, gathering business insights to improve the end-to-end procurement experience.
- Strategy Developer: Drive tactical business plans and secure sponsorship for procurement services tailored specifically to R&D needs.
- Procurement Ambassador: Simplify and optimize the customer journey, advocating for adoption and compliance while identifying new value-creation opportunities.
- Agile Contributor: Work flexibly across squads and project teams to deliver both foundational and project-based work.
Who You Are: You are an action-oriented enterprise thinker. You donβt just follow processes; you connect the dots across a global matrix to create solutions.
Education: University degree (Business or Life Sciences preferred).
Experience: Extensive level of multi-category procurement, sales, or customer management leadership within a matrix organization.
Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in Late-Stage R&D / Clinical Development.
Relationship Builder: Proven success in cultivating productive partnerships with senior stakeholders.
Mindset: You bring curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for continuous learning. You are open-minded, inclusive, and ready to experiment with new ideas.
