We are offering an End User, Workplace & Site Experience - Industrial Placement to join us on a 12-month contract. As an Industrial Placement student in the Onsite Enablement space, you will be a part of a team that delivers great employee experiences when our employees interact with our technology solutions and workplace. You will contribute to the support, implementation and introduction of new technology and services to our workplace and the digital marketing and change management campaigns to ensure high adoption of these new services.

In this role you will develop a broad set of skills in IT support, service management, project management and change management just to name a few. You bring a passion for providing great employee experiences and use this passion to review our current technology and services and drive continuous improvement! You bring an understanding of networks, windows client hardware and peripherals as well as IT application and systems. This is an onsite role based at our Motherwell location. You may be expected to travel to other sites in UK & Ireland.

What you could be working on:

  • You could contribute to the introduction of a variety of innovative technology and digital services to our workplace, bringing a new perspective to the way we design and deploy technology solutions.
  • You could be involved in analysing business requirements and choosing solutions to our challenges, deploying solutions and contributing to the marketing and change management campaigns to ensure high adoption of the new services and tools being introduced.
  • You could contribute to analysing data to ensure that our existing services have high satisfaction levels and are operating optimally and using this data to prioritize any future continuous improvement activities.
  • You could contribute to our employees maximizing value from our existing technology solutions especially our collaboration tools via crafting and delivering training programs, educational materials and marketing campaigns.
  • You will do this with impactful and engaging awareness campaigns, using various media platforms.
  • You will help our team provide first class employee experiences through technical support and educating and upskilling our colleagues, so they make the best use of our existing solutions or new solutions being deployed.
  • You could contribute to updating our local technical process documents.

Who you are:

Essential Education/ Qualifications: Currently studying towards a Computer Science Degree or similar

Requirements (incl. Key Skills):

  • Understanding of Windows client hardware and software environments
  • Understanding of network infrastructure environments
