The Clinical Educator brings clinical expertise to their field team. This is a promotional role, working as an integral member of a field based team and will not have direct contact with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist specialist customers in a secondary care environment, to increase their knowledge, clinical understanding and advocacy of the assigned brands in the relevant therapeutic area/disease state and approved indications (multiple sclerosis).
- To provide education to health care professionals and their staff on the proper administration of designated treatments for assigned disease area.
- To support healthcare professionals to provide patients with appropriate information and support informed decision making along the patient journey.
Who you are
- Nursing background or similar experience required.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of the Pharma Market and the local Health Service environment.
- Good technical knowledge of Multiple Sclerosis experience strongly preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of business planning, organisational & problem solving skills.
- Ability to conduct face-to-face presentations to customers.
- Highly motivated with drive & determination to succeed & willingness to adapt to change.
- Dynamic, self-starter with strong influential skills, as well as entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, professional relationships.
- Commercial, Regulatory and technical awareness.
- The ability to navigate a large multi-disciplinary geography (which may require travel 50 – 60% of working time).
- Valid driving licence.
