The Position
Als Application Specialist (d/w/m) in unserem EMEA Customer Support Center am Standort Mannheim spielst du eine entscheidende Rolle in der Unterstützung unserer Kunden und internen Teams. Du bearbeitest Anfragen, bietest Expertise im Troubleshooting, führst Schulungen durch und sorgst für den reibungslosen Betrieb und die Wartung unserer Labordiagnostikgeräte sowie Softwarelösungen. Was dich erwartet
- Du bearbeitest Kunden- und Mitarbeiteranfragen per Telefon sowie schriftlich, analysierst und löst Probleme, dokumentierst diese im CRM-System, nutzt Remote Services und simulierst Kundensituationen im CSC-Labor.
- Du identifizierst und behebst Störungen, bearbeitest Beschwerden und arbeitest eng mit dem 2nd-Level-Support sowie anderen Teams zusammen.
- Du organisierst und führst Schulungen für Kunden und Mitarbeiter basierend auf standardisierten Konzepten und Dokumentationen durch.
- Du veröffentlichst relevante Informationen, unterstützt bei Produktupdates, moderierst technische Meetings und trägst zum Wissenstransfer bei.
- Du überwachst die Produkt- und Prozessqualität mithilfe definierter Kennzahlen und setzt Optimierungsmaßnahmen um.
- Du übernimmst Vor-Ort-Aktivitäten wie die Konfiguration installierter Systeme, Vor-Ort-Troubleshooting, Kundenschulungen, Systempräsentationen und unterstützt den Vertrieb.
Wer Du bist
- Du bringst einen Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in Chemieingenieurwesen, Naturwissenschaften (z. B. Biologie, Chemie, Medizin) mit oder hast eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung, beispielsweise als medizinisch-technische r Assistent in, idealerweise ergänzt durch mehrjährige Berufserfahrung.
- Du hast mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem medizinischen oder technischen Umfeld, zum Beispiel im Kundenservice, Vertrieb, Marketing oder in einer leitenden Funktion in einem Labor.
- Du verfügst über fundierte Fachkenntnisse in medizinischen Analysesystemen, Qualitätssicherung und Laboranalytik sowie Grundkenntnisse in IT-Netzwerken und Verbindungen.
- Du sprichst fließend Niederländisch und verfügen über gute Kenntnisse in technischem Englisch (mindestens B2). Eine weitere RCSC-Sprache (Deutsch, Türkisch oder Griechisch) ist von Vorteil.
- Du hast Freude daran, Kundenschulungen zu gestalten, Fehler systematisch zu lösen, und bist sicher im Umgang mit Business-Software wie MS Office, CRM-Systemen und Dokumentationstools.

As an Application Specialist (d/f/m) in our EMEA Customer Support Center located in Mannheim, you play a vital role in supporting our customers and internal teams. You handle inquiries, provide troubleshooting expertise, conduct training sessions, and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our laboratory diagnostic equipment and software solutions. The Opportunity
- You handle customer and staff inquiries via phone and in writing, analyze and resolve issues, document them in the CRM system, utilize remote services, and simulate customer situations in the CSC laboratory.
- You identify and troubleshoot issues, manage complaints, and closely collaborate with 2nd-level support and other teams.
- You organize and conduct training sessions for customers and staff based on standardized concepts and documentation.
- You publish relevant information, support product updates, moderate technical meetings, and contribute to knowledge transfer.
- You monitor product and process quality using defined metrics and implement optimization measures.
- You undertake on-site activities, including configuring installed systems, on-site troubleshooting, conducting customer training sessions, presenting systems, and supporting sales efforts.
Who you are
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering or natural sciences (e.g., biology, chemistry, medicine) or have completed a professional apprenticeship, such as medical technical assistant training, ideally supplemented by several years of professional experience.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a medical or technical environment, for example, in customer service, sales, marketing, or in a leadership role within a laboratory.
- You possess solid expertise in medical analysis systems, quality assurance, and laboratory analytics, as well as a basic understanding of IT networks and connections.
- You are fluent in dutch and have strong proficiency in technical English (minimum B2). Another RCSC language (German, Turkish or Greek) is an advantage.
- You enjoy designing customer training sessions, systematically solving issues, and are proficient in using business tools such as MS Office, CRM systems, and documentation tools.
- You inspire with your high customer orientation, intercultural teamwork spirit, and excellent communication skills. Your ability to handle conflicts and apply de-escalation techniques allows you to navigate challenging situations confidently.
