Position End‐to‐End Business Team Coach, Growth & Performance (G&P) – Portfolio Strategy & Delivery (PSD) at Roche.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to high‐priority teams across the R&D value chain, including LCTs, GDTs, GFTs and other prioritized teams.
- Build and execute a systemic coaching strategy that enables the delivery of PD core business and critical priority projects.
- Improve team effectiveness, equip teams to navigate complexity, accelerate decision‐making, problem‐solving and delivery.
- Deliver end‐to‐end coaching interventions for high‐priority assets, start‐ups, milestones, transitions and other critical junctures.
- Align stakeholders and ensure cross‐functional accountability, focusing on systemic team health and alignment.
- Operationalise the therapeutic area (TA) model, deepening business understanding of specific TAs and aligning coaching triggers with the new LSPC prioritisation framework.
- Maintain a data‐driven culture, using metrics to identify insights and demonstrate measurable impact of coaching interventions.
- Explore and integrate AI, automation and digital technologies to enhance team performance and coaching efficiency.
- Contribute to and adopt Standards of Practice, Value Measurement & Reporting, ensuring consistent quality and a clear link between coaching interventions and business impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's/MBA preferred.
- Formal accreditation in Team Coaching (ICF, EMCC or equivalent) is essential.
- 10+ years of experience in the pharma/biotech or other high‐complexity industries.
- Proven track record of systemic team coaching for global, matrixed teams through large‐scale change and drug development lifecycles; experience must go beyond individual 1:1 coaching.
- Deep understanding of systemic frameworks (e.g. Leadership Circle).
- Strong understanding of the end‐to‐end R&D value chain and the business drivers that matter to Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Commercial and other functions.
- Comfortable using data to diagnose team health and measure success; vision for applying artificial intelligence to team coaching.
- Agile facilitation skills and ability to apply them pragmatically to solve business bottlenecks.
- Exceptional ability to create safe spaces, remain a 'container' for teams, influence in ambiguous environments and facilitation skills.
