The Position

The Opportunity

As a Global Medical Collaboration Leader (GMCL) in Obesity, you’ll be part of a pioneering team working across countries to accelerate the delivery of innovative treatments by driving meaningful, science-based engagement with stakeholders.

This is a strategic, field-based medical role , supporting affiliates across the lifecycle of a molecule or disease area. You’ll act as a connector, expert, and enabler—building partnerships, sharing insights, and shaping access and outcomes globally.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key external experts, driving scientific exchange and collaborative partnerships

  • Support clinical trial site identification, engagement, and performance to accelerate study delivery

  • Capture and share real-time insights across affiliates to inform global strategy and address evidence gaps

  • Champion launch readiness activities by supporting education, training, and local field engagement

  • Promote innovation and best practice sharing across the Global Medical Collaboration (GMC) team

  • Represent the voice of the field in strategic planning and ensure a seamless, integrated customer experience

Who You Are

You are a collaborative, science-driven medical leader with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for improving patient outcomes. You bring:

  • A degree in life sciences or related field (Master\’s; PhD, MD, PharmD or MBA a plus)

  • Significant experience in field medical affairs or related customer-facing roles

  • Track record in strategic medical affairs experience and / or clinical development experience

  • Deep scientific understanding of Obesity, Diabetes, or Metabolic Disorders required

  • A strong track record of building external collaborations and working across complex, cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of the drug development process, clinical trial operations, and stakeholder engagement

  • Fluent English and working knowledge of the ABPI Code

  • A valid driver\’s license is required

This field-based role will require travel within and occasionally outside the country.
