The Position
Are you ready to drive clinical innovation and lead global study management teams from First-in-Man through Proof of Concept? In this role, you will champion operational excellence and clinical trial execution to deliver life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.
- Drive Study Strategy: Design comprehensive study operational strategies by integrating the patient voice and driving simplicity and efficiency.
- Lead Global Study Teams: Provide operational expertise and thought leadership to cross-functional study teams, accountability for milestones, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage Risk and Compliance: Proactively identify and mitigate clinical study risks while ensuring strict adherence to ICH/GCP standards and regulations.
- Oversee Vendor Performance: Provide strategic direction and robust oversight for outsourced clinical activities to ensure high-quality vendor delivery against scope.
- Innovate and Champion Change: Drive process improvements, implement emerging clinical technologies, and participate in cross-functional healthcare initiatives.
Location & Structure: This role is based onsite at our Welwyn, United Kingdom office (or alternatively at Basel Headquarter, Switzerland office). Our team follows a hybrid work structure, requiring a fixed number of onsite days per week. Please note that relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
Who You Are
- Experienced Clinical Operations Leader: You bring a university degree (preferably in Life Sciences) or equivalent experience, backed by a strong track record in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strategic Thinker with Deep Compliance Knowledge: You possess solid working knowledge of the drug development process and clinical research regulations.
- Agile and Collaborative Problem Solver: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a growth mindset and comfort traveling internationally as needed.
- Empowering Team Coach: You are passionate about achieving successful outcomes by leading, coaching, inspiring others, and fostering a speak-up culture.
