F. Audsley & Son Ltd is a well-established, busy and trusted vehicle repair business based in Southport, Merseyside. Established in 1946, we have built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliability and excellent customer service.
Due to continued demand and growth, we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Engineer to join our team.
The Role
You will be working on a wide range of vehicles, including:
- All aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance
The role will include:
- Inspecting and diagnosing vehicle faults
- Mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- General mechanical repairs
- Working on a varied range of vehicles and commercial vehicles
- Carrying out work to a high standard of workmanship
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2–3 years’ experience working in the motor trade
- Has good mechanical knowledge and practical skills
- Can diagnose faults and carry out repairs confidently
- Takes pride in their work
- Is reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Can work independently as well as as part of a team
- Has a full driving licence – preferred but not essential

- 40+ hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 8:00am–6:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am–3:00pm – optional
