We are a rapidly growing Irish EV charging infrastructure company delivering innovative and sustainable charging solutions across Ireland and the UK. Following the award of a significant contract in the Midlands region of the UK, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple EV charging installations from inception through to completion.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering EV charging infrastructure projects across the Midlands. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in electrical infrastructure, construction project management and contractor management. The successful candidate must be capable of coordinating multiple subcontractors, stakeholders and suppliers while maintaining compliance with UK regulations and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, programmes and budgets.
- Coordinate and supervise electrical, civil and construction subcontractors.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, utility providers, consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting on milestones, risks and performance.
- Manage procurement activities and coordinate material deliveries.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, delays and cost overruns.
- Conduct site visits and progress meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all project documentation, permits, inspections and handover requirements are completed.
- Support commissioning and energisation activities through to final project completion.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within electrical infrastructure, construction, utilities or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong electrical engineering or electrical project delivery background.
- Demonstrable experience managing construction projects and site-based activities.
- Extensive experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK Midlands region.

Desirable Qualifications
