Ezen Foundation is committed to cultivating an engaging and accessible environment to Japanese art and culture. Part of how we do this is through holding events. The kinds of events we have and aim to run in future are:
- educational talks with guest speakers
- community events to introduce locals to Japanese culture
- workshops
- demonstrations
- (potentially) a Japanese festival matsuri
But any new ideas are welcome! Coordinating events is all about networking and organisation. Volunteers will be asked to:
- send out emails to relevant parties
- write up rough / detailed plans with some guidance for event proceedings
- brainstorm ideas for events
- help with set-up and tidy-up for events
- help out on event days
- keep track of event goals and timelines
