The Company EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family–run Irish retailer operating nationwide, as well as a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are the largest independent Furniture Retailer in Ireland and employ almost 400 people.
The Person: Truck Driver – C+E License Demountable Driving Derry/Londonderry to Galway Route. If you are an experienced C+E license driver, have a strong work ethic, and will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery between Derry/Londonderry and Galway as well as Derry and surrounding counties, we want to hear from you. Excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach are essential. The position is based in Derry/Londonderry. Responsibilities:
- Unload goods as per specifications.
- Deliver furniture.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Logistics and Customer Service teams.
- Maintain personal appearance by following EZ Living's dress code – must wear uniform.
- Conduct inspection of vehicle before departing.
- Prioritise health and safety at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have experience driving trucks, a full clean 'C and E' driving license, all CPC certs and a driver’s tacho card.
- Must have a good knowledge of city and county road networks and be familiar with the area within the province.
- Fit and healthy – this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting on a daily basis.
