We’re partnering with a growing organisation in the utilities sector to recruit a People Operations Manager based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead people operations in a business that is evolving and investing in its workforce. As the People Operations Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR operations. You’ll oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring processes, systems, and policies support both the business and its people.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day HR operations, policies, and procedures
- Leading and developing a HR/People team
- Driving improvements in HR systems, data, and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal governance
- Supporting payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to enhance employee experience
- Leading on HR projects, including process optimisation and digitalisation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a People Operations / HR Operations leadership role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience working within a regulated or complex environment (utilities, infrastructure, or similar preferred)
