We are working with a leading international consumer goods organisation, who are seeking an experienced Head of HR Operations to lead the delivery, transformation and continuous improvement of people operations, HR systems and workforce data capabilities. This is a strategic leadership role with operational responsibility, focused on creating an outstanding employee experience through efficient HR service delivery, robust systems, high-quality data and actionable people insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a high-performing, customer-focused environment through the leadership and development of multidisciplinary HR Operations teams.
- Ensure a seamless employee experience by overseeing HR operations across the full employee lifecycle.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex employee relations matters while overseeing day-to-day HR administration activities.
- Maintain responsibility for HR systems governance, performance, development and data integrity across the organisation.
- Enhance operational efficiency and user experience by leading HR technology and systems transformation initiatives.
- Provide actionable workforce insights through the delivery of analytics, dashboards and management reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, standardisation and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI.
- Drive service excellence by implementing and monitoring KPIs, SLAs and performance standards.
- Maintain compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and data protection regulations.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT and the wider business to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support continuous improvement through effective process documentation, knowledge sharing and capability building within the team.
- Occasional travel to operational sites and office locations as required.
About You
- A commercially minded professional with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Extensive experience leading HR Operations, Shared Services, and People Services functions in complex organisations.
- Recognised for successfully delivering HR systems transformation, optimisation, and data governance initiatives.
- Skilled in people analytics, translating data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Experienced in implementing automation, digital solutions, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire diverse HR teams.
- Well-versed in employee relations and employment legislation.
- Driven by a passion for service excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- A proactive and resilient problem-solver, capable of balancing strategic thinking with effective operational delivery.
