We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Relations Manager for a multi-site retail business in East Riding of Yorkshire. As the Employee Relations Manager, you will lead a team of ER Advisors, providing expert guidance on complex cases and ensuring the delivery of a consistent, high-quality ER service. You'll play a key role in coaching and developing your team, fostering a positive employee relations climate, and supporting the organisation through change and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to shape and drive the employee relations strategy across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Employee Relations Advisors.
  • Oversee the handling of complex casework including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and appeals.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for high-risk or sensitive ER issues.
  • Ensure ER policies and procedures are aligned with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Provide training and support to managers to build ER capability across the business.
  • Monitor ER trends and data to proactively identify issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Support organisational change initiatives including restructures, TUPE, and consultations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience within employee relations or HR.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and case management.
  • Excellent people management, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively at all levels.
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or higher preferred).
  • Confident working on-site 4 days per week, with 1 flexible day.

This is a permanent role based in East Riding of Yorkshire, offering c£60,000 per annum plus package.
