Are you an experienced and dynamic Employee Relations Advisor? We are looking for a passionate ER Advisor to join a well-established and growing business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the ER Advisor will be responsible for building trusting relationships with stakeholders, providing expert ER advice and support to managers and employees across specific areas of the business. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days a week in the office.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and support on ER issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management
- Advise and coach managers on best practices for managing employee relations matters
- Support the resolution of complex employee issues and disputes
- Assist with investigations and disciplinary hearings
- Deliver ER training to relevant stakeholders as required
- Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date
- Manage a varied caseload, ensuring all cases are kept on top of and relevant communications happen in a timely manner
- Assist with various HR tasks and projects across the wider HR team
Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in Employee Relations, with a proven track record in resolving complex ER issues
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Must be comfortable dealing with cases and people both face to face and remotely
