We\’re seeking a confident and capable Employee Relations Advisor to join a fast-paced retail business in East Yorkshire. This role plays a key part in supporting line managers and employees across the business, handling a range of ER issues in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of call for all Employee Relations queries.
  • Deliver a high-quality Employee Relations Advisory service, ensuring excellent standards of customer service and accurate, supportive employment advice.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on policies, HR best practices, and employment legislation — focusing on less complex employee relations issues.
  • Partner with managers through coaching and mentoring, supporting them to resolve cases professionally and in line with policy and agreed timescales.
  • Use the HR Information System and Microsoft Office tools to update and maintain accurate records, meeting departmental SLAs.
  • Ensure all HR correspondence is timely, accurate, and aligned with both customer and business needs.
  • Develop strong working relationships with managers and colleagues at all levels by gaining a deep understanding of the business.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and help shape better ways of working within the HR team.

This role is based in East Riding of Yorkshire, 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home. Salary £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience. If you are interested in this opportunity please apply now
