We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join a close-knit HR team and provide expert, pragmatic ER support across a multi-site organisation.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers, supporting a wide range of employee relations matters while delivering a high‑quality, legally compliant HR service.
📍 Yorkshire/Midlands – Flexible location, travel across the North of the UK required weekly (approx. once a week)

The Role:
- Advising managers on disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance management, and pay & benefits
- Preparing for and responding to Employment Tribunal cases
- Tracking and reporting on ER casework and trends
- Providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law implications
- Maintaining accurate HR and payroll records and handling sensitive data confidentially
- Supporting and guiding managers through consultation processes, including TUPE and redundancy
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to exit
- Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as required
About You:
- Strong experience managing ER cases, including disciplinaries and grievances
- Experience supporting a customer‑facing, multi‑site workforce
- Knowledge of TUPE, redundancy, and consultation processes
- Experience preparing for or supporting Employment Tribunal cases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and remain resilient under pressure
- A high level of discretion and professionalism
- CIPD qualification (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential
