I am working with an international manufacturing business on the outskirts of York, who are looking for a Communications Specialist to lead internal and external communications.
Internal Communications
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, and campaign materials.
- Support major internal campaigns and initiatives with consistent messaging and clear supporting materials.
- Monitor internal communications metrics and recommend improvements.
- Organise approvals, translations, and maintain content templates and asset libraries.
- Build strong relationships across departments to gather authentic stories and ensure alignment.
External Communications
- Plan, write, and produce compelling content for recruitment and employer branding, including job descriptions, social media posts, ads, email campaigns, blogs, and website copy.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to promote our employer brand across platforms (LinkedIn, web/careers page, job boards).
- Tailor content for various platforms to maximize impact and engagement.
- Ensure all content reflects the employer brand voice, tone, and values.
- Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance content creation and streamline processes.
This role is based on-site (outskirts of York) and paying £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + benefits.
