We are looking for an internal salesperson within our busy Kempston (Bedford) branch. This position requires candidates with experience within the electrical wholesale industry. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work within a small team in a fast-paced office environment.
Key duties include:
- Dealing with customer enquiries and orders
- Supplier liaison
- Stock control
- Proactive sales activities
- Processing quotations & sales orders for customers
- Working closely with a large customer base, ensuring orders are completed accurately
- Increasing the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new customer accounts
- Assisting on the trade counter and incoming telephone calls
- Assisting with managing stock levels and ordering stock from manufacturers
Ideal person:
- Electrical wholesale experience is essential
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
