Looking for a genuinely supportive practice that values continuity of care, clinical autonomy and work-life balance?
Eynsham Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly, forward-thinking team. You will join an established team of 10 salaried GPs, experienced partners and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
We believe General Practice should still feel rewarding, with manageable workloads, protected development time, continuity with patients and a supportive team environment.
Our salaried GPs have a wide range of interests, including care home medicine, medical student teaching and GP registrar training. We actively support portfolio careers and professional development, with opportunities to take on additional practice roles with protected time and/or additional remuneration.
About the Practice
We care for approximately 16,400 patients across two sites and are committed to high-quality care, continuity and innovation.
We operate a usual GP list system, helping clinicians build meaningful long-term relationships with patients, supported by an effective clinical triage model.
Our multidisciplinary team includes clinical pharmacists, paramedics, physician assistants and a dedicated home visiting service. Well-organised administrative and recall systems help minimise unnecessary clinical workload.
The Role
You will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary medical care in line with GMC standards, NHS requirements and best clinical practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Face-to-face, telephone and digital consultations
- Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Participation in triage, duty doctor and home-visiting rotas
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Contributing to clinical governance, audit, significant event analysis and safeguarding
- Working collaboratively with practice and PCN colleagues
- Supporting education and supervision of trainees where appropriate
- Maintaining GMC registration, appraisal, revalidation and CPD
Clinicians manage their own Pathlinks, documents using GP Autopilot, Meds Manager, tasks and emails. Medications, documents and results are covered during leave, with dedicated catch-up admin time on return: half a session after one week’s leave and a full session after two weeks.
Salaried GPs are invited to all practice meetings apart from partner-only meetings.
What We Offer
- 4-8 sessions per week
- Salary of £10,635-£13,994 per session, depending on appointment numbers, patient list size, supervision, duty commitments and additional responsibilities
- 14 x 15-minute appointments per session
- Mix of telephone, face-to-face and online consultations
- Protected admin time following annual leave
- Regular protected time with GP partners
- Monthly clinical CPD meetings
- Personal study budget
