Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell menu items will be key to enhancing customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and the dining area throughout service.
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, including data entry for orders.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong upselling skills to promote menu items effectively.
• Proficient in data entry for order processing and billing purposes.
• Good phone etiquette for handling reservations or customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to analyse customer needs and preferences to provide tailored service.
• A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
