Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Between 8:00am–6:00pm

The Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Assistant to join a passionate and forward-thinking team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, while supporting children’s individual learning journeys.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a secure, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children
  • Delivering the EYFS framework and supporting all areas of child development
  • Providing early intervention and targeted support to children who need additional help
  • Completing observations, accident/incident reports, and risk assessments using online systems
  • Working closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each child’s unique needs
  • Gaining a deep understanding of each child through initial assessments, including SEN, cultural background, and individual interests

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring both professional skills and genuine passion.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach
  • Clear Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and early intervention practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
