My client are one of the UK's leading design, fit out and office refurbishment businesses. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager/Bookkeeper fully office based in their impressive offices in Aldershot 9am to 5pm. Established for over 37 years, they are a nationwide firm of consultants specialising in the business office sector. We can offer full training on our services plus the opportunity to develop and progress your career within the business. The role will be based at our Aldershot Office Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm, with free parking and a professional working environment.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Managing Directors. The Bookkeeper/Finance Manager will be expected to make a significant contribution to the strategic development of the Company through the application, insight and analysis of the Management information produced.
Duties and Responsibilities - Finance
- Budgetary Planning necessary to support the annual growth and profitability of the company, undertaken in conjunction with the Directors.
- Setting and agreeing financial parameters to monitor the monthly performance and profitability of the company.
- Provide the Directors with weekly and monthly cash-flow forecasts prepared using the latest updated Sales forecast information.
- Working with the company’s accounts and providing information for the preparation of Management and end of year accounts.
- Responsible for dealings and relationships with Banks and providers of any external financing.
- Overall responsibility for all Regulatory Tax compliance and reporting.
- Assist the Directors with all Business Planning and be responsible for the preparation of all financials relating to Business Planning.
- Experience in monthly payroll, including Pensions, CIS, National Insurance and Tax deductions.
