Join a small international broking company, part of a larger global group. The company operates as an introducing broker rather than an interdealer broker. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of commodity markets, origins, and trade flows.
- Learn contract terms, trade and shipping terms, and documentation requirements.
- Support senior brokers in client interactions and negotiations.
- Assist in contract execution and operations.
- Conduct market sector analysis and provide reports to management.
- Develop new leads and initiate contact with potential clients.
- Shadow brokers and gradually take on broking responsibilities under supervision.
- Handle dispute resolution processes when required.
- Maintain strong client relationships and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Travel at short notice when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience in a relevant field).
- Strong IT knowledge.
- GCSEs in English Language and Mathematics at grade B/6 or higher (or equivalent).
- Prior experience in related fields is required for the Broker position but not for the Trainee Broker role.
Working Hours:
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Flexibility required to accommodate international client demands and market activity.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with non-native English speakers.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
