I am looking for a Sales Customer Support Executive to join my client’s dynamic Sales team at their Basingstoke headquarters. This is a customer-facing, commercially focused role, supporting both UK and international accounts while working closely with their field sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support UK and Export customers as part of the Internal Sales team
- Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Work closely with the external field sales team to support sales activity
- Proactively engage customers via phone and email
- Identify new product opportunities and manage sales proposals
- Process and track customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Complete new customer account setup and onboarding
- Maintain accurate customer data within CRM systems (VECTA)
- Use product literature, videos, promotions, and marketing materials to drive sales
About You
You’ll be customer-focused, confident, and commercially minded, with a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships and supporting sales growth.
Experience & Skills:
- Previous customer service or telephone sales experience (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel (essential)
- Experience using CRM systems is advantageous (e.g. Opera, VECTA)
- Additional language skills are an advantage (French or German preferred but not essential)
- Cultural awareness of European markets is beneficial
