I am looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join my clients finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial and management accounting, along with proficiency in various accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly reports and analysing profit against forecasts.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
- Manage purchase ledger and other transactional finance tasks.
- Perform inter-company reconciliations and month-end journal postings.
- Maintain financial schedules, such as the fixed asset register and accruals.
- Complete month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure all monthly and weekly deadlines are met.
- Oversee employee expenses and supplier payments.
- Handle general office and administrative duties as required.
