We're looking for a mid-weight Video Editor with proven agency or in-house experience to join the EY3 Media team in Manchester. This is a hands-on editing role at its core, bringing video editing as well as camera confidence to support shoots when needed. You'll work across a diverse client portfolio, cutting content that ranges from premium brand films to fast-turnaround social-first video.

About EY3 Media

EY3 Media is a creative agency specialising in Video Production, Motion Design, CGI, Social Media and Digital Marketing. We craft premium, narrative-driven campaigns that connect brands with audiences in meaningful and measurable ways. We combine strategic insight, performance thinking and high-end creative execution to deliver campaigns across Film, TV, Social and Digital platforms. From concept to rollout, everything is developed in-house by a collaborative team that values precision, quality and impact.

Our client portfolio includes globally recognised brands, organisations and charities such as Disney, Discovery, HP, Ferrari, Birkenstock, BCG, Estée Lauder, Nike, North West Air Ambulance, Cartier, Bloomberg Media, The United Nations, Red Bull and Major League Soccer.

What you'll be doing:

  • Editing short and long-form video content across brand, social and digital platforms
  • Cutting platform-native social content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube) that's built to perform
  • Supporting shoots as a camera operator when required (not your primary role, but important)
  • Colour grading, sound design, and finishing deliverables to broadcast and digital spec
  • Collaborating closely with Creative Directors, Producers and Account teams throughout production
  • Managing your own project timelines and delivering to deadline across multiple active briefs
  • Maintaining version control, asset management and quality standards across all output

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience editing in an agency or production environment
  • A strong reel showing range, pacing, and visual instinct across formats
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Creative Cloud)
  • Solid understanding of storytelling, rhythm, colour and sound
  • Hands-on camera experience and confident operating on set when needed
  • Able to work comfortably across multiple client brands with different voices and standards
  • Organised, self-directed, and calm under the pressure of competing deadlines

The right person will be:

  • Genuinely passionate about the craft. You watch good work and you know why it works
  • Detail-obsessed without being slow. Quality and pace matter equally here
  • A team player who communicates clearly and takes ownership without being chased
  • Curious about where video, social and AI tools are heading and open to evolving with them.

Why EY3 Media?

  • Work on premium campaigns across globally recognised brands
  • Collaborative, ambitious team with a genuine focus on craft
  • Regular development reviews and real progression opportunities
  • Based at Towers Business Park, Didsbury with on-site catering and good transport links
  • Team socials, company events, and a strong focus on staff wellbeing

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience

How to apply:

Send your CV and a link to your reel or portfolio. We'll be looking at the work first, so make sure it's easy to find and up to date. Please include a short note (written or video) on why this role is for you.
