Key Information
- We’re looking for students that have a passion and interest in technology and/or those that have some experience of: SQL, Python, R, Java, C++ or PowerBI and knowledge of cloud computing, cyber security, data analysis/manipulation and reporting.
- If you’re in your penultimate year of university and studying for a STEM or computer science‑related Honours Degree that includes a one‑year placement, this programme is for you.
- You’ll need a minimum of Level 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths; and three A‑levels/5 Highers (or equivalent).
- While we welcome applications from candidates of all academic backgrounds, we are looking to recruit individuals who will succeed at EY in the role and future qualifications.
- We have completed several studies on academic attainment at A‑level (or equivalents), candidate performance in the online assessments in the EY recruitment process, and how that predicts future performance at EY.
- Throughout the recruitment process, we therefore assess your suitability for the EY role you have applied to by considering your scores in the online assessments and your academic attainment at A‑level or equivalent.
- This approach is designed to ensure our joiners are successful in role and, where relevant, in the achievement of their professional qualifications.
- It is important to EY, and we have a duty of care which we take very seriously, to ensure our joiners are set up for long‑term success.
Please see visa sponsorship details below for this programme, for location: Belfast – Northern Ireland.
The EY summer internship and industrial placement programmes are specifically designed as a pathway to our Graduate programme within the same business area and location. We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for the Graduate programme aligned to this internship due to UK Home Office regulations. Therefore, we cannot accept applications for this role from those who would require EY sponsorship after university graduation.
We have a variety of other summer internships and industrial placements that lead to a Graduate position, complete with the support for visa sponsorship where needed. We encourage you to explore these opportunities and find the one that aligns with your career aspirations. You can find out which vacancies are able to support applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship by looking at the individual vacancy pages.
More information can be found on our FAQ page.
Diversity and Inclusion
We’re passionate about giving candidates a fair and consistent recruitment process and are proud of our long‑standing partnership with RARE who help us assess applications using contextual recruitment. We also firmly believe that every candidate should have the opportunity to demonstrate their potential in our selection process which is why we use our skills framework that focuses on your individual skills.
