About the Team
Our Channel Islands Strategy and Transactions team delivers formal restructuring work, both solvent and insolvent, as well as advisory work, both stressed and distressed. The team sits within EY’s wider Strategy and Transactions service-line, and also delivers other transaction work, most notably transaction diligence. Our clients can be companies, government bodies or financial stakeholders and can involve businesses, corporate vehicles, funds and private wealth structures. Working in a dynamic market across the Channel Islands with strong links to international business, the team collaborates closely with colleagues across EY service lines and with specialists from the wider EY network.
As part of EY Channel Islands, you will join a close-knit team that offers graduates early responsibility, strong coaching and exposure to a broad variety of client work. The opportunity
As a Strategy and Transactions Analyst (Graduate), you will support the delivery of high-quality work across a range of client engagements while developing your technical, analytical and commercial skills. Within your role, you will actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. Working under the supervision of senior team members, you will contribute to client assignments, build internal and external relationships and gain experience across Strategy and Transactions work in Guernsey and Jersey. From day one, you will be encouraged to learn, ask questions and take ownership of your development.
Client responsibilities
- Support the delivery of client engagements by conducting research, gathering information and preparing analysis in draft form.
- Work effectively as a team member by sharing responsibility, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
- Build productive working relationships with colleagues and clients, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Develop an understanding of EY’s service offerings and contribute to a high standard of client service across Strategy and Transactions engagements.

- A degree (or on track to graduate before starting) with an interest in restructuring, transactions or related areas.

- Willingness to study towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA (ICAEW) /ACCA).
- Eligibility to work in Guernsey in line with local immigration requirements.
