Our Deal Management and Technology (DMT) team advises clients on technology throughout the deal lifecycle from due diligence through to execution and value realisation.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Due diligence analysis and report writing, focused on IT considerations and their impact on transaction rationale;
- Design, planning and execution of IT integration, separation, and strategic transformation programmes;
- Manage engagement economics, communicate significant issues, fees and progress to partners and clients;
- Coach junior team members and develop the team's intellectual capital;
- Build relationships with senior clients and enhance the team's external brand.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Financial Services expertise: at least seven years industry and/or consulting experience in a Financial Services environment.
- Change management: proven track‐record in leading change initiatives, preferably in a transaction context.
- Strategic insight: awareness of trends in Financial Services and the M&A market and ability to apply this knowledge to shape client solutions.
- Commercial acumen: ability to quickly understand key value drivers in a business and influence problem solving.
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis: sound analysis to evaluate how operational issues affect the investment case for a transaction.
- Technology platforms: familiarity with core financial services platforms and enterprise applications, and ability to drive value from technology.
