We are looking for a Senior Manager in International Tax who specializes in the Energy sector to join our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) Practice. You will advise large corporations on international tax planning and M&A, working with sector‑leading partners and a high‑performing team that has handled many high‑profile transactions. As part of our team you will work on a variety of projects focused on helping clients develop and execute their international tax strategy, including:
- Expansion into new markets
- Cross‑border M&A services
- Pre‑transaction reorganisations
- Post‑transaction integration
- Legal structure rationalisation
- Operating model redesign
- Optimising capital structure and financing
- Intellectual property ownership and reliefs
- Managing risk from global law changes such as BEPS
- Lobbying and negotiating with tax authorities in the UK and globally
Your key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, proactively winning work and contributing to new client acquisition.
- Manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical business focus.
- Take overall responsibility for the quality of client service.
- Manage possible leads from other areas of the practice.
- Build networks and relationships internally and externally for the team to leverage.
- Develop junior staff through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring.
- Significant involvement in team strategy and operations, and in junior staff development and assignments.

- Proven ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statute.
- Experience in a client‑facing role in UK tax or a similar jurisdiction.
- Experience working within the Energy sector.
