We are seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to support our team in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in tax compliance and reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong willingness to learn, natural curiosity, experience with tax technical concepts and processes, plus a consulting mindset that fosters transformational change.

  • Your Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas and solutions to diverse audiences, including senior management and clients.
  • Employ strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and develop strategic, innovative solutions that drive value for clients and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive operational effectiveness by assessing existing processes and controls, identifying automation opportunities, and developing AI agents/workflows and custom applications for tax reporting processes.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee tax subject matter resources and technology fulfilment teams in the design, development and implementation of enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with senior client stakeholders, including Global Heads of Tax and business unit IT leads, to understand and translate business requirements into actionable IT specifications.
  • Design and implement effective operating models to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax provision and compliance processes across both the client and EY, while playing a critical role in guiding clients through the complexities of modern tax and finance transformation, ensuring they remain compliant with changing regulatory obligations in a dynamic environment.

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • What we look for
  • A degree in a relevant field (e. g. Accounting, Finance, IT, STEM disciplines).
  • Understanding of Indirect Tax (e. g. VAT), Direct Tax (e. g. corporate income tax), and basic transfer pricing principles.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing operating models and data strategies that drive operational improvements and enhance client service delivery.
  • Familiarity with data management concepts, including analytics, automation technologies, and ERP systems (e. g. SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and innovatively, with a track record of developing and implementing effective solutions.
