The team you join β EYβs UKFS Cyber & Resilience Practice β is part of a global team of over 5,000 professionals focused on developing and delivering cutting edge security and resilience transformation programmes. We are part of a wider consulting organisation that collectively comprises a $4B global practice with 18,000 professionals. We are expanding our Cyber & Resilience practice and are seeking excellent people to join our growth trajectory. The role focuses on developing, delivering and assuring operational and digital resilience programmes and related disciplines, helping clients understand and navigate resilience-related regulations (e.g., UK FCA/PRA Operational Resilience, Digital Operational Resilience Act). You will support delivery of resilience programmes and foundational resilience disciplines such as business continuity, crisis management and testing.
Your key responsibilities include leading engagements for financial services clients, contributing to risk identification, learning culture, and coaching junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in developing and enhancing their resilience frameworks and capabilities.
- Help clients understand relevant regulatory requirements.
- Conduct resilience assessments, gap analyses, impact tolerance assessments and tests to identify single points of failure and develop remediation roadmaps.
- Facilitate simulation exercises and provide training to client teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to resilience.
- Evaluate and implement measures and controls to meet regulatory requirements across diverse client environments.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes, events, and industry best practices in resilience.
- Contribute to thought leadership and business development activities.
- Assist in overseeing project metrics by organising staffing, tracking budget, and communicating risks and dependencies to project leaders.
Skills And Attributes For Success
You will have a broad background across resilience and business continuity with interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Resilience regulatory requirements around business services/critical functions, mapping testing and managing vulnerabilities.
- Business continuity management and impact assessments.
- Governance frameworks, processes, and controls design and implementation.
- Incident and crisis management policies, procedures, and practice.
- Information security and non-financial operational risk requirements and frameworks.
- OCIR/RRP.
- Security policies and controls in line with regulation/standards (e.g. ISO27001).
- Data privacy and GDPR programmes addressing confidentiality and security.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Strong academic record including a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Experience in a relevant industry (desirable: 12+ months experience in resilience, continuity or cyber).
- A passion for collaborating with a team and clients to solve complex problems.
Additional requirements (desirable)
- Experience in Financial Services, Consulting, Government Organisations or Military.
- Experience in resilience, business continuity, IT service continuity, crisis management, risk management, IT audit, incident management and response, third-party risk management and related areas.
- Resilience/continuity qualifications such as CBCI/AMBCI/MBCI, Master BCM, ISO22301 or ISO27001 auditors.
- Project and programme qualifications (Prince II, Scrum, Agile).
- Information security and/or risk qualifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA or equivalents.
