This position will work flexibly to support the Performance and Reward function in developing and delivering reward frameworks that ensure the effective implementation of reward programs. The Reward Consultant will primarily be responsible for reviewing EY's job architecture to make recommendations and improvements that establish the appropriate structure to enable reward programs and help EY achieve its skills and performance objectives.
This position will engage key customers and stakeholder groups to understand business requirements, conducting research into external trends, and analyzing performance issues that impact the delivery of reward programs. Additionally, this position will support the preparation of reward processes and toolkits, as well as develop change and communication materials for various stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and development of EY's job architecture for employees, this may include:
- Assessment of EY's career architecture and leveling to identify gaps and areas for improvement and propose effective solutions.
- Establish job architecture and job levelling requirements appropriate for EY's business model(s) and enable reward to deliver EY's skills strategy and fair pay.
- Develop and propose solutions to identify and differentiate skills premiums and qualifications within the job architecture to support reward programs.
- Facilitate discussions with Reward, Talent Delivery and Career framework teams to gather structured feedback on recommended improvements to job architecture and leveling.
- Project manage/facilitate the review of job leveling methodologies and vendors, evaluating the time, resources, and costs required for implementation.
Where required, support the review and update of current reward frameworks, standards, processes and toolkits, this may include:
- Reward frameworks, guideline standards and principles
- Reference guides and training material
- Pay transparency checklists and toolkits
Develop or provide input to associated change documentation to clarify the scope and value of possible changes. Support Reward colleagues to create project plans, outline objectives, key milestones and track the day-to-day project activities, including tracking progress against plan and managing changes to scope. Conduct external research, monitor external and internal trends and provide insights to support recommendations and solutioning. Manage stakeholder communication with project team members, Talent and the business as appropriate. Communication may include responses to inquiries, status updates, presentations of project progress and/or completion.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis to identify and assess issues with existing services or determine the cause of business problems/challenges as identified by Talent colleagues.
- Ability to assimilate and analyse data to improve projects or make recommendations for future project enhancements.
- Ability to, with the support of AI, analyze and summarize feedback and recommendations on projects. This analysis will inform decisions related to program changes and enhancements.
- Analyze and leverage market and business insights to provide input to the development of Reward frameworks and principles.
Supervision Responsibilities
- Must be able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Proactively participate in meetings to ensure effective execution of Talent function strategy and associated processes.
- As allocated, own a specific component of a service capability and ensure best practices are defined and communicated.
- Help to establish, prepare and optimise meetings and networks with Global and Region teams to communicate changes to strategy or solutions, share best practices and capture needs across the firm.

Job Requirements
Education
- Educated to degree level.
Experience
- Experience in a closely related Talent role bringing insights and experience of service design and delivery.
- Demonstrable experience of collaborating with Talent or business colleagues across geographies to deploy an agreed Talent service and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong experience of working effectively in globally dispersed teams to enhance services, frameworks, processes and standards.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a central team to manage networks and of sharing insights and best practices to help enhance service delivery and performance at a local level.
- Demonstrable experience of working flexibly as part of a project team/squad to providing subject matter expertise and ensure the effective design and quality of service solutions.
- Demonstrable experience of working in fast-paced, ambiguous, stressful environments to deliver required results.
Certification Requirements
- Higher professional or masters qualification in a related discipline is preferred, not required.
- Active membership in related professional bodies or industry groups is preferred, not required.

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $105,200 to $196,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $126,200 to $223,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
