Our Value & Performance Management (VPM) team helps CFOs, CxOs and business leaders transform how decisions are made across their organisations. We enable clients to improve business performance through modern FP&A, enhanced business partnering, data‑driven decision support, and innovative analytics and AI‑enabled performance frameworks. Our VPM team works with some of the world’s most recognised brands to help them translate strategy into measurable value outcomes. This includes shaping enterprise performance architectures, designing insight‑led operating models, implementing Integrated Business Planning, and optimising decision processes across the value chain.

Transformation Lifecycle

  • Assessing current maturity of Finance, FP&A and business partnering
  • Developing a VPM strategy, vision and performance architecture, focused on value outcomes for the business
  • Designing enterprise performance frameworks and operating models
  • Implementing modern planning capabilities (driver‑based, predictive, IBP)
  • Deploying enabling technologies (e.g. SAP SAC, Tagetik, Anaplan, OneStream, Pigment), analytics platforms and AI tools
  • Enhancing decision support across commercial, supply chain, marketing and other functions
  • Creating value measurement frameworks and scorecards
  • Designing insight‑led organisation structures and talent models
  • Managing end‑to‑end programme delivery and adoption

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and advise them on their most critical performance and decision‑making challenges, as well as leading and executing complex transformations on their behalf.
  • Drive the growth of our VPM and broader Finance Transformation business, by leading on business development, innovation and eminence in the market, talent development, and managing the risk of the firm.
  • Have a deep understanding of how Finance, FP&A and business partnering functions operate—and how they can evolve to enable better decision making.
  • Lead large, complex, technology‑enabled VPM, FP&A or decision‑support transformations.
  • Shape client strategies and target operating models for enterprise performance.
  • Work with senior clients from across Finance and the broader business to understand their strategy and business priorities, and to translate them into value outcomes and a roadmap for execution.
  • Advise on, and oversee design and implementation of planning, analytics (e.g. scenario‑modelling), insights and AI tools and capabilities.
  • Advise on EPM tools and technologies from a functional / business value perspective.
  • Identify new business opportunities for our firm, and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Lead on business development activities such as bids and tenders.
  • Coach and mentor junior consultants, developing the next set of consulting leaders in the firm.
  • Lead on innovation topics, by running teams to develop thought leadership, research and points of view; be eminent in the market by actively talking and sharing our thought leadership to clients and the external market.

Qualifications

  • Extensive background in consulting is essential.
  • Experience in a Senior Finance/FP&A/Commercial role is a bonus.
  • End‑to‑end experience delivering change programmes across Finance Transformation, FP&A, Enterprise Performance Management.
  • Proven ability to build senior client relationships.
  • Sector expertise and strong commercial understanding.
  • Strong experience of managing complex risk, quality and commercials.
  • Experience of business development and revenue generation e.g. bid work.
  • Extensive experience of leading teams in a matrixed environment.
  • People development experience, including coaching and career development.
