The opportunity
We are looking to hire a director into our platforms team. Our platforms team helps clients deliver technology enabled transformation, modernising their technology environment either through the delivery and customisation of third-party platforms, or as part of teams designing and delivering bespoke solutions.
Your key responsibilities
As a senior payment professional, you will elevate our payments brand with our banking clients through a combination of thought leadership & external events. You will lead business development activities, including the development of long-term trusted advisor relationships with our clients across the C-suite.
As well as business development, you will be involved in leading large and complex projects from strategy through to execution. You would also play a key role in our practise, developing our payments capabilities and building high performing teams, coaching, mentoring and serving as a role model for our people.
Skills and attributes for success
To quality for the role you must have
- Extensive experience of delivering large and complex payments transformation, often as part of a technology modernisation programme either as a consultant or working in a technology function of a leading organisation, proven experience of developing new solutions with clients to respond to the evolving technology landscape
- You will be an SME in payments, having extensive domain experience within a banking context, leading teams through solution design and development, comfortable navigating between business line and technology functions
- Experience in developing payments capabilities and leading teams
- A deep understanding of modern and emerging technology and ways of working, and the technical gravitas to go \”toe to toe\” with senior technology leaders at our clients
- Extensive experience of payments domains in banking, domestic/international processing, retail, commercial and wholesale
Ideally, you will also have
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment that impact technology organisations
- You will be naturally curious and will no doubt have explored many other domains such as AI, Gen AI, and Distributed Ledger Technology
- Prior Consulting experience
