Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage the successful delivery of tax advisory projects across a range of matters: UK corporation tax, international tax, income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and other tax matters relevant to UK and international individuals, businesses, and partnerships.
- Help people develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
- Participate in team management, strategy and operations, including staff development and project assignments.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proactively develop new business to win additional work.
- Collaborate with other EY offices both in the UK and overseas.
- Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties, including major financial institutions, lawyers and wealth advisory businesses.

- Demonstrated track record of leading the delivery of UK tax advice to clients.
- Strong technical and practical tax knowledge with experience advising individuals, families, investment structures, UK corporate tax and/or partnership matters.
- Client‑focused and commercially aware.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to deliver quality outputs.
- Effective time management and adherence to client deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Enthusiastic team player who can create, sustain and lead effective teams.
- Ensures delivery of quality work and day‑to‑day leadership of delivery teams.
- Computer literacy with adaptability to new systems.
To qualify for the role you must have ACA/CTA/Tax Inspector or equivalent with full technical training or a tax specialist qualification.
