This role is part of a newly formed team that will transform EY.com in the UK to give an incredible client experience that makes us discoverable, lands our messages, builds consideration and converts site visits into conversations.

As part of a team of Digital Content Managers, this role will be responsible for creating content on ey.com that demonstrates to our clients our distinctive thinking, bold insights and innovative services that position us as the firm that can best help them to solve their biggest issues. The role requires excellent copy‑writing and content‑creation skills and openness to the potential of AI tools to enhance work and speed up time to market.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Draft copy and identify images in response to briefs from Digital Portfolio Managers across four categories:
    • Creating EY.com presence for BMC‑originated campaigns, ensuring a compelling digital experience
    • Adapting draft content from business SME stakeholders
    • Adapting global content and rewriting or creating UK‑specific perspectives
    • Creating bespoke digital content where required (e.g., case studies, people profiles, or content required for SEO/GEO)
  • Provide guidance and advice to BMC teams on best digital creative approach for activities that require ey.com presence
  • Ensure that all copy and imagery created for ey.com follows brand guidelines and is approved through the SCORE brand approval process
  • Occasionally manage content creation agencies to deliver digital content
  • Work with the Digital Technical Manager to ensure copy is optimised for search
  • Work with the Digital Technical Manager to ensure page builders have correct briefs to enable accurate and timely publishing

  • Excellent creative writing skills and ability to think verbally and visually to create compelling digital content
  • Ability to use AI tools to make the process of developing messaging and drafting copy more efficient, while using human skills to ensure distinctive, engaging content
  • Positive and proactive mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders with the vision for ey.com
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to gain consensus about content direction in a complex organisation
  • Extensive writing and content creation experience with a proven track record of supporting teams from scoping to delivery
  • Experience in SEO and optimising digital content to support campaign search objectives and buyer journey
  • Time and project management skills – highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Experience in professional services or a related industry with clear understanding of external markets and the backdrop against which much of our content is produced and written
  • Expertise in writing to brand style guidelines

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing copywriting or journalistic role in a business environment
  • Knowledge of the UK business environment, gained from working in a professional services environment or as a journalist in a related field
  • Working knowledge of website design (preferably Adobe AEM), UX, SEO and marketing automation, plus experience working with page‑building teams
  • Experience in stakeholder management in a complex environment and the ability to interpret briefs, challenge constructively, make creative suggestions and gain consensus on creative outputs
